Senior Change/Progression & Program Manager

The CFO Office at Finance is responsible, with the support of each department, for the continuous progression management of Finance & Procurement as a whole, in view of its evolution towards Plan 2020. It supports the CFO and the Finance Function MT into transversal topics. The head of CFO Office reports into the CFO. In this context, we look for a Senior Change/Progression & Program Manager responsible to co-drive the progression of Finance into its objectives of Plan 2020

Your responsibilities

 

  • Manage, develop and motivate colleagues to create a high performing project team to deliver business objectives with respect to assigned change projects
  •  Act as a source of professional expertise and input into the development of Finance change projects
  •  Lead the implementation of specific Finance and Business Change Projects
  • Build and maintain a cross functional internal network to optimise the delivery of assigned change projects

The Senior Program Manager reports to the CFO Office Manager and works in close cooperation with all Finance’s and Business stakeholders involved in concerned projects. More specifically, the project/program manager will manage, in an agile way, a set of projects defined in the Roadmap of Finance, i.e.

  • project documentation and follow-up (scope, planning, requirements, risks, monitoring) at each stage of the project cycle, validated by its steering committee
  • steer the related planning, budget, resources with respect to deliverables – federate the stakeholders and executing parties – ensure deliverables are familiarized with all parties
  • assist organization on operational activities linked to the Roadmap
  • analyze (and document) the processes, systems etc. and propose improvements
  • Advising business stakeholders and leaders to ensure strategic alignment to the portfolio
  • challenge existing process and recommend improvements to them to improve efficiencies and consistency (via e.g. simplification labs,…)
  • define and execute Communication plan and ensure key metrics of projects success

The project/program manager will also animate the steering committees. Strict discipline in communication and follow-up of clear targets, deadlines and deliverables is a key success factor. Compliance to confidentiality is key!

Your Profile

 

  • You have a University degree in Business Economics or Business Administration
  • You are fluent in  French,Dutch and English
  • At least 6 years of experience in project/program management Technical Experience

Mandatory experience:

  • Strong Project/Program Management skills & relevant experiences
  • Strong Progression Management skills & relevant experiences
  • Expertise in Change Management Methodologies, e.g. ADKAR
  • Expertise in process design & reengineering & reorganization
  • Knowledge of Banking sector
  • Expertise in Business requirement, E2E analysis and test strategy
  • Coaching skills (sharing best practices)
  • Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferable experience

  • Expertise in Finance processes (Budget, Forecast, Closing)
  • IT skills / minded (eager to understand and discuss with IT)
  • Flexibility (in peak periods extra efforts may be required)
  • Experience with working in a complex organization
