Functional Analyst

  • Based on the process modelling and business requirement, you are able to identify, describe, the functions, business rules, man/machine interface , logical data modelling related to the processes and write a full functional Analysis in UML (from Use cases to Class Diagram, through interaction diagrams) Function Description
  • Verify accuracy of existing processes definitions against actual operational processes
  • Define existing gap between existing processes definitions and actual operational processes
  • Document the impact of new business requirements on existing processes
  • Design new process definition when missing or inaccurate
  • Design the use cases that support the business processes
  • Write Interaction diagrams describing the interaction between the system supporting the processes and the system actors
  • Document data model with Class Diagram

Your responsibilities:
 

  • Cooperate and assist the Architecture team in analysing the impact of the gaps on the existing systems
  • Understand and detail business requirements and transform these into functional requirements (functions description, business rules, man/machine interface , logical data modelling)
  • Document the solution and make user manuals
  • Find your way in existing data and model the new data requirements
  • Supervise and validate the work of the development team
  • Help to creation of test scenarios and test execution
  • Train the key-users
  • Change management: maintain wish list, change requests, define the IT solution, assess impact on existing application and provide high level estimates Competencies
  • Become and remain proficient in all programs and techniques necessary to perform the day-to-day duties of this position

Your profile
 

  • Education Bachelor/Master
  • minimum 5 Min 5 years as Process Analyst / Functional Analyst
  • Modeling UML Tools
  • Experience within the banking sector
  • Knowledge and application of credit domain (Alpha Credit – Financial Sector) is a plus
  • Be highly organized and a good multi-tasker
