Job Summary
The self-motivated IT Technical Support Specialist provides first line technical help and support for all employees for IT Operations related issues, with a strong service outlook, keeping the “internal customer” satisfied in a best possible and professional way.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures optimal communication and reachability to employees
- Provides support to end users on a variety of issues
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems, 1st line, occasionally 2nd line problems
- Responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support
- Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution
- Maintains the CMDB according to configuration management procedures
- Performs local end user desktop installations
- Maintains IT stock and keeps track of placed orders, repairs etc.
- Maintains IT contracts and communicates with suppliers and supporting companies
- Works under immediate supervision of the Director IT Operations

Education and Experience
- IT qualification
- May require 4-8 years of experience in the field or in a related area
