JOB DESCRIPTION
In order to strengthen our company we are looking for a motivated R&D Manager Biotechnology / Biochemistry. The R&D Manager is responsible for the development of new as well as the improvement of existing products and technologies within our company. You are an active, energetic personality with a university degree, who is used to function independently within an internationally oriented company. You are experienced in working in a commercial and technical environment with an international customer base. We offer you a challenging and responsible task in an expanding company with a casual working atmosphere.
Tasks:
- Development of new technologies;
- Further development/ enhancement of existing technologies;
- Responsibility for planing and execution of various R&D projects;
- Cooperation with product management and marketing
PROFILE
For this broad function we are looking for a independent personality with team spirit, who additionally corresponds to the following profile:

- Good listener, communicative and consistent;

- Outcome- and solution-oriented;
- Stress resistant and flexible;
- Education on scientific/academic level. You have completed your studies in the field of biochemistry, biotechnology or microbiology;
- Relevant working experience, at least 3-4 years in a technical environment;
- Experience in the field of protein expression and protein purification;
- Industry knowledge is required;
- Highly analytical assets, coming up with “out-of-the-box”-solutions, thoughtful;
- Excellent mastery of written and spoken Dutch, German and English;
