Description:
The Internal Sales lead service is a key operational service within the Retail Sales & Marketing service (part of CCG). It contributes to the excellence of the department:
- In managing and improving retailer satisfaction
- In ensuring the control on the marketing budget (Channel and MDF budget) of the RSM team
- In being the guardian of Microsoft’s compliancy rules regarding budgets and PO creation
- In ensuring the account managers a clear follow-up of their budget from the creation of the PO to the payment of the invoices (PO creation, communication to PAM, invoices, payments)
- in communicating marketing campaigns and programs through the retail
- in helping the Microsoft products to be delivered to retailers in case of issue
- in creating post-mortem analysis of our launch season regarding logistics and escalate if issues
- in managing and leading the whole launch process of Microsoft products to retailers
- in being the lead contact with our operation center in Ireland (EOC)
- in supporting Partners and Sales team with specific issues (financial, customer satisfaction, operational process of product launches)
- In performing ad-interim some account managers’ tasks issues solving, awareness regarding new product launches or campaigns, follow up of partner’s inquiries with marketing, follow up of the financial side of the account
- In performing ad-interim forecast collection and consolidation on new products
- In solving financial issues ( i.e. credit limit, credit block, pre payments) with MSFT’s financial team for our retailers to ensure continuity of our business
- In contacting planners regarding stock issues or products related issues (addition to price lists…)
- In taking part in the onboarding process direct partners (contracts, account set up, train partners with our tools)
- In training and supervising the whole sales assistant’s work and task
- in helping the field team to be aware of our marketing campaigns and promotions to optimize Microsoft’s position into retailers’ stores
- in managing and leading various programs and processes (for all products)
- in supporting category managers with reports (sell-through reports)
- in creating new vendors in our system
- in solving issues at commercial and retail distributors (order placement, delivery issues, stock availability)
- in helping occasionally other teams of CCG (tools training for new hires, escalation of issues at EOC)
- in accelerating business through use of Microsoft tools
This service is recognized for their strong insight in products, specific operations and procedures linked to marketing or the products themselves, the ability to manage launch processes and allocation process, the support brought to the sales and marketing teams and contribution in improving partner satisfaction, the deep knowledge in MSFT compliancy rules, processes, programs; in being responsible of the sales assistant’s work.
