For maintaining / enhancing an existing ASP.NET application (MultiSupport Calculator) we need a software engineer who is capable to build high quality solutions based on functional designs, taking into account the proposed service oriented migration path. The engineer will work in a team of 5 persons that is close to the business (Another developer; Information Analyst, Business Analyst and Functional Application Manager).

Our MultiSupport offers full repair and maintenance coverage to customers for an agreed upon monthly price.

The MultiSupport Calculator is an application used all over Europe by dealers and salespeople to calculate the right price for such a MultiSupport contract, based on a truck’s specification, its intended use and the customer’s preferences, which can then be offered as a ‘Quote’ to the customer.

The Calculator is constantly undergoing changes to improve the way it calculates the expected costs for a contract (based on a large amount of data about expected repairs, planned maintenance and financial factors) and the way it allows salespeople to create an attractive offer.

Some modifications are also required in the data maintenance application (VB6), which generates the datasets for the MultiSupport Calculator.

Bachelor IT level and 3 years experience.
