For our customer we have a baseline set of agreed on availability , capacity and performance management triggers and this needs to be implemented in Splunk. Your role will be to implement this under guidance of a Project Manager.
 
  • Splunk Engineer with a security mindset. Splunk Engineer with deep knowledge of Splunk big data solution in large scale environments.
  • Minimal Splunk Certified Admin.
  • Knowledge in the field of an Redhat is a large pre.
  • Implementing technical standard and non-standard changes in the infrastructure.
  • Integrate policy conform ITIL processes.
  • Configure, maintain high complex infrastructure services, equipment and devices
  • Solve (complex) Incidents, part of problem management process on request of Problem Manager
  • Work in a team together with other 3th line engineers
  • On technical level stear dedicated 2nd Line Support in Poland.
 

MUST Haves

10+ years’ experience working in an IT infrastructure Redhat Linux support/engineering role; five of which should have been at a Senior level. Recent exposure to IT infrastructure services within the R&D and/or Manufacturing Services industry. Experience of working within a large Global organisation within a multi-national company knowledge. University degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, developed over an extended period. Fully proficient in English, both oral and written. A clear and analytical approach to problem solving. Drive best practice in the use of common processes. Ability to work unsupervised for extended periods, managing multiple goals and priorities. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Proactively identify self-development needs.
